Joining the orchestra’s ranks this month are:

She holds a master’s degree from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, a bachelor’s degree from The Juilliard School and an advanced certificate from the University of Southern California. Miller is scheduled to join the Oregon Symphony Nov. 27.
- Micah Wilkinson, third trumpet – Wilkinson had been third trumpeter for the Tucson Symphony Orchestra in Arizona since 2007 and a member of its brass quintet. He holds a bachelor’s degree in trumpet performance from St. Olaf College in Minnesota and has done graduate study at Arizona State University. Wilkinson began with the Oregon Symphony earlier this month.
